Didarul Islam was more than a Police Officer\u2014he was a devoted father to two young boys, a beloved son, a caring husband, and a big brother not only to his sisters but to countless cousins, both here and in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

He arrived in the United States from Bangladesh in 2009, driven by a dream to build a better future for his family. That dream led him to proudly join the NYPD in 2021, where he dedicated himself to serving the city and the nation with honor.<\/p>\n

Didarul leaves behind his pregnant wife, two little boys, his aging parents, two heartbroken sisters, and a wide circle of cousins, friends, and well-wishers whose lives he touched deeply.<\/p>\n
